Parkhurst Dining Creates Clinical Team
In an effort to provide optimal support to the health and wellness of our guests, Parkhurst Dining recently created a clinical support team appointing Alicia Koloski as the company's new dietitian! Formerly a dietitian at Providence Point in Pittsburgh, Ms. Koloski serves all corporate and higher education dining venues.
A native of Wheeling, WV, Ms. Koloski completed her undergraduate and master’s degree, as well as her dietetic internship, from Marshall University in Huntington, WV.
Ms. Koloski is no stranger to Parkhurst. She had previously supported Parkhurst corporate dining locations such as Google Pittsburgh and PNC, providing guests with wellness and nutrition lectures and working alongside chefs during their cooking demonstrations.
Ms. Koloski is supported by David Burch, clinical team member, who is responsible for the development and management of NetMenu, a web-based recipe and nutritional database.
Mr. Burch began his career as a higher education catering chef for Philadelphia-area universities prior to joining Parkhurst as an executive sous chef for Bucknell University. Mr. Burch next served as executive chef for Cedar Crest College where he supervised all culinary related operations in multiple kitchens covering the board operations, retail and catering programs.
A graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a Bachelors of Science degree in hospitality management, Mr. Burch also holds certifications in culinary arts, nutrition, and baking and pastry from the IUP Academy of Culinary Arts.
