Being a part of the Culinary Leadership Team is an amazing experience and allows me to work with others that are passionate about improving dining experiences of all of our guests. I love that we look at projects from all areas of expertise, including chefs, dietitians, training, and marketing. I especially love how we include feedback from our students and guests in our future programs and how best to enhance their experiences. The laughter in our committee meetings is an added perk.
Being part of the Culinary Leadership Team has given me the opportunity to connect with teammates across the company, share best practices, and contribute to positive change from the corporate dining perspective. It’s especially rewarding to know that insights from operations are valued and can help shape meaningful improvements across the organization.
As a member of the CLT, I am able to connect our company's direction and vision with our on-site operators. This unique position allows me to not only have a voice that is heard by our Senior Leadership; but a genuine input into the direction of our programs. On the other side, I am able to communicate these focus' to our operations teams locally, as well as hear their voice and convey it through the CLT. I couldn't ask for a better opportunity to have both a real impact and provide results-based feedback within Parkhurst Dining.
