Thankful for Our Know Your Source Partners

Parkhurst Dining is Thankful For…Know Your Source Partners

Our “Thankful For” series continues with our Know Your Source partners!

What is Know Your Source? Parkhurst Dining’s Know Your Source program aims to partner with local growers and producers within our operating region. We seek partnerships with those who share our passion for food, commitment to excellence, and dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within our communities.

Why Know Your Source?

Parkhurst Dining created the Know Your Source program to enhance transparency and trust, so our guests know exactly where their food is coming from. Not only do we support local farmers and producers, but the program also promotes sustainable and ethical farming practices. By sourcing locally, Know Your Source helps reduce the carbon footprint associated with long-distance transportation of goods, contributing to environmental sustainability.

“Our Know Your Source program has expanded our food offerings, allowing us to bring fresher, more diverse options to our guests while supporting local farms and producers,” says Jamie Moore, Director of Sourcing and Sustainability at Parkhurst. “This program strengthens our connection to regional agriculture, enriching our menus and making a real impact on the local economy. It’s about quality, sustainability, and giving our guests a taste of our region.” -Jamie Moore, Director of Sourcing and Sustainability

We’re so thankful for all our Know Your Source partners, like Clemens Food Group and The Common Market – Great Lakes! Meet them below:
