Parkhurst 2025 Culinary Trend: Take Flight with Flights

You may have enjoyed a “flight” before. For example, a flight of beer usually entails a tray of different flavors, like light, dark, sour, stout, or whatever else you wish to try, all in small portions.

But “food flights” have also been gaining popularity in recent years, and at Parkhurst Dining, our chefs are embracing the 2025 dining trend into their menus and through pop-up events.

Food Flights at Parkhurst

Food flights involve serving small, taste-size portions of various dishes, allowing customers to sample different flavors and varieties in one sitting. The idea is to offer a creative and engaging dining experience that encourages experimentation and personalization. Think: a BYO Burrito Bar where you get to build your own creations and sample different meats and flavors.

At Parkhurst, we are dedicated to personalization and customization in our food offerings by creating customized menus that reflect the seasonal bounty and the unique preferences of our guests. We are committed to creating engaging guest experiences that ensure every guest’s individual needs and preferences are met. Our chefs are given creative autonomy to create their own menu offerings and, as a result, have embraced food flights in a variety of forms.

Not only do the chefs enjoy this fun way to present dishes, but so do our guests! Check out how some of our Parkhurst higher education locations have embraced food flights.
